Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is a traveling meme being hosted by Amused by Books during September.

I think I need to change the title of this meme to be My attempts to look like a New Orleans book store (click link for picture)

All but one represents another, and likely final visit to Borders. Mary Sutter came from Costco, which has started carrying a really good selection (though badly displayed), given its not close to Christmas, and they usually only carry new releases or the current fads. Saw some of Margaret George's earlier works, and the first in the Pink Carnation series. Could be dangerous, but at least I can't get in without one of my parents, since they have the membership.

Now, I'm not going to buy any until November, when Inheritance and Crossed come out.

Stop laughing, I mean it this time.

No, really.

ps. I signed up for a couple giveaway hops in the next couple months.. If you want the basics, check out the sidebar --->

I'm laughing with you, not at you! I haven't read any of those books, but I adore the cover of Don't Breathe a Word. Enjoy!

Mary Sutter was great, I couldn't finish Savage Lands, and The King's Witch is on my wishlist! Great Mailbox! I made my last trip to Borders this week, too. And I am also anxiously awaiting Crossed!

I'm laughing too only because I say the same thing all the time. I mad a trip to Borders over a week ago and have been thinking I should make one more run. But really I shouldn't! I hope you enjoy all your new treasures.

I have been trying not to buy any books either but Borders' sale has really thrown a wrench in that! Enjoy your books!

Thanks for the visits everyone.

@Beth, I said it at the beginning of the summer too, and that clearly didn't happen.

@reviewsbylola, that it does. A lot of these were wishlist items too, so made it harder.

A Great and Terrible Beauty is one of my challenge books, so I MUST pull it off the shelf to read sometime this year. My Name is Mary Sutter and Don't Breathe a Word are both on my wishlist! You got some great books on your Borders spree (I did my last trip last week, too).

(and really, I'm only laughing because ... well, I've never yet been able to stick to a book-buying ban .. ever.)
