Mailbox Monday

Ok, these are the books that have made it to my greedy little hands in the last week. None in the actual mailbox, however (my form of restraint).

Library:
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner
Coraline by Neil Gaiman
(or I just found my county library has started using Overdrive and can get my hold now)

Purchases:
A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon
A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin
The Kingmaker by Hellen Hollick (e-book)

You received some great books this week, Sarah!

I take it you are enjoying the Martin series since you've purchased A Clash of Kings?

Yes I am. I'm about halfway through the first so far. I just keep letting library books get in the way or would have been finished a while ago. Probably my last for a while, with the series coming on HBO, Borders is out of just about all of them but the tie in ones for Game of Thrones.

I have to be honest, I was unimpressed by The Help...curious what your take on it will be!

Hina, I'm not sure I'm that impressed with The Help either. Seems like most people on Shelfari seem to just ~*LOVE*~ it. But I've only managed to get through 100 pages so far since Thursday when I started it
