Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is a traveling meme, which is being hosted this month at Let Them Read Books.

There are the books I've acquired in the last week or two. The Silence of the Lambs pleased me greatly, as it's an early printing. Same cover as the first edition, but alas, not marked as a first edition or number line. My mom ended up already having 13 1/2, but atleast the cost of that went to the library. Now if only Barnes and Nobles wouldn't keep putting things from my e-book wishlist on sale....

All of your covers have a similar color theme. It looks like you found some great deals at the library book sale!

I was tempted to buy Darkfever but it is so not my usual type of book. All the great reviews for it keep telling me to get it! I love the library sales. You found some very good finds at yours!

Three Messages and a Warning sounds good. I saw it on LibraryThing but didn't win a copy.

I love those library sales. I had to stay away from the last one, I have too many books already waiting to be read.

Thanks. I've heard great things about The Dovekeepers too.

That they are. In my area, there is a dedicated area so there's sale books out all the time, so its almost a compulsion to check.

Darkfever isn't one I would have gone for normally, but I've heard great things about it too. And BN had it on sale for the Nook, so figured that was a good price to try.

I've only read a few pages so far, but I'm liking it too.

I always feel I need to check the sales shelf when I pick up holds at the libraries. Luckily I get many e-book checkouts, so those help me resist the sales. They are a large portion of why my shelves are so full.
